Scott J. Falgoust
Scott J. Falgoust was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Before joining the Lemmon Law Firm in 2013, he spent two years working with the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee assigned by Judge Carl J. Barbier to represent the citizens and businesses who suffered damages caused by the BP Oil Spill.
Scott earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Louisiana State University in 2006. He also served as an intern in the New Orleans City Attorney’s Office in the Housing and Finance Division where he assisted in the expropriation of blighted or abandoned properties throughout the city of New Orleans. He currently is serving on the Board of Directors for non-profit organizations.
His practice with the Lemmon Law Firm includes representing clients in matters involving family law, personal injuries, successions, interdictions, class actions, property disputes, and various other areas of litigation. He also has experience with business formation and development as well as drafting wills and other estate documents.
