Andrew Lemmon, a litigation attorney for over 20 years, is now offering services as a civil mediator and as a qualified domestic mediator. He graduated from LSU in 1984 with a BA in Political Science; from Loyola University School of Law in 1987 with a JD; and from George Washington University’s National Law Center in 1994 with a Master of Environmental Laws. Andrew has worked for both plaintiffs and defendants in civil, domestic, and environmental litigation. He also has worked for local government agencies in sales tax collection and environmental matters. He formed Lemmon Law Firm, LLC in 1996, with offices in New Orleans and Hahnville. He is on the Board of Directors of Reach Out America, an organization formed to assist evacuees after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita; Louisiana Bayou Keeper, Inc., an affiliate of Waterkeeper Alliance, Inc.; Krewe of Chronos, a Mardi Gras krewe; Mardi Gras Lacrosse Tournament; and a number of other social, civic, and charitable organizations. He is the oldest of six children and the father of Stuart.

Mediation is increasingly used as a less expensive and less combative alternative to litigation. By working together in a comfortable and collaborative setting, family and personal dignity is protected while options are explored to achieve mutual goals.
